Apple & Cinnamon Chia pudding: a speedy breakfast option!

Are you always in a rush in the morning? Do you often forget to eat breakfast or grab a snack on the go? Well, we have a solution… an apple and cinnamon chia pudding!

Chia seeds are packed with healthy omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, calcium, protein and are a great source of fibre. When mixed with liquid, chia seeds expand and swell into a gel like substance, providing a delicious, nutritious and filling ‘pudding’. Depending on your time frame, this recipe can be made in the morning or the night before, ready to eat or take on the move.

Serves 1:


  • 240ml almond milk (or alternative if you prefer)
  • 1 apple, peeled and deseeded
  • 2 pitted dates
  • 1tbsp chia seeds
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Optional toppings: honey, goji berries, chopped fruit, fresh berries, cacao nibs, coconut flakes etc.


Blend all the ingredients together, apart from the chia seeds. Once blended, add in the chia seeds, stirring continuously for 2 minutes to prevent the seeds clumping together. Leave to set for at least 15 minutes or overnight. Serve with your preferred toppings and enjoy!
