Superfoods for a Super You

Superfoods … Bean and Chocolate Chilli … Can it possibly be this good?

Hard scientific evidence shows that some foods – SUPERFOODS – contain exceptional levels of nutrients which promote good health, help boost the immune system and so protect the human body from disease.

In other words – resistance to diseases such as cancer or those related to high blood pressure and cholesterol can be increased by nourishing our immune system with superfoods.

Superfoods are those containing phytochemicals: a term used to group together antioxidants – found in fruit, vegetables and grains; flavonoids – from berries, tree fruits, beans and vegetables; carotenoids found in orange–coloured vegetables such as squash or carrots.  Also included in the group are Vitamins A, C, E and K which are key to well-being and the fight against disease.

Ensuring that superfoods are included in the diet is a must for anyone interested in promoting their own health and maintaining ‘super-being’.  But please, watch your cooking methods!  Be careful to preserve the nutrients to enjoy the maximum benefits of the food.

That is why Nutripanda not only provides its clients with comprehensive meal plans but also recipes and precise preparation methods, individually tailored to each client’s specific needs to ensure superfoods form part of the daily diet.
