Why don’t you try it?
BEAN & CHOCOLATE CHILLI (Serves 1)
1 tbs extra virgin olive oil ½ red onion, chopped
1 small garlic clove, chopped ½ small red chilli, finely sliced
100 ml passata 80 ml veg stock (extra if needed)
200g canned kidney beans, drained 10g dark chocolate
100g cocoa solids, shaved ½ tsp ground cumin
sea salt flakes freshly ground black pepper
a squeeze of lime
Heat the oil in a small pan and gently fry the onion for 8 minutes until soft. Add the garlic and chilli, and cook for a few minutes more. Add the passata, stock, beans, chocolate, cumin, salt and pepper. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat and gently simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring regularly. Add the squeeze of lime and salt and pepper to taste. Serve with steamed rice.
