Susannah Johnston 

Susannah Johnston is an experienced integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS).

 

She holds an MSc in Psychology from the University of Liverpool and works with adults and adolescents. 

 

She is also qualified in couples counselling (Relationship Scotland), a BACP-approved counselling supervisor, and is currently completing a Master Practitioner Diploma in Eating Disorders & Obesity, specialising in the psychological and nutritional aspects of disordered eating.

Susannah combines evidence-based approaches, including Psychodynamic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), tailoring treatment to each individual's needs. Her diverse professional background, including journalism, emergency paramedicine, science education, and natural sciences, gives her a unique holistic perspective on the connection between mental and physical health.

With a particular interest in eating disorders, neurodiversity, and the relationship between nutrition and mental wellbeing, Susannah is passionate about helping clients achieve lasting emotional and psychological wellbeing.
