Gut Health Test

Our gut health test is an advanced, innovative, comprehensive and clinically-applicable stool profile, utilising multiplex PCR molecular technology, coupled with a gold standard growth-based culture, sensitive biochemical assays and microscopy. 
 
It will detect and assess your commensal bacteria, the status of pathogens, viruses, parasites, worms, yeasts, Helicobacter Pylori and other unfriendly bacteria that may be contributing to acute, chronic gastrointestinal symptoms and disease. 
 
We will analyse a broad range of stool chemistry markers like red and white blood cells, muscle fibres, vegetable fibres, pollen, elastase, calprotectin, lactoferrin, lysozyme, antibodies, short chain fatty acids and zonulin, to assess digestion, absorption, inflammation, immunology, intestinal permeability, leaky gut, metabolic syndrome and obesity.
 
Our gut health test can help to differentiate inflammation associated with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) from that noted in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
