Dietitian in Edinburgh

We have a new Dietitian in Edinburgh who has joined our Nutripanda Team. We are very pleased to introduce Erika Glescic.
Erika comes from a beautiful, Slovenian beach town called Izola which faces the Mediterranean Sea and is tucked between Italy and Croatia.
After a career in the Financial Services sector, Erika decided to follow her passion to help and contribute to people's lives. She completed her Bachelor's degree and her Master's degree in Dietetics at the University of Primorska in Slovenia.
As our new Dietician in Edinburgh, Erika’s aim is to promote the concept of food as a natural ingredient in human well-being.
Erika’s vision mirrors Nutripanda’s philosophy so she fits perfectly into our team. We believe that good nutrition maintains good health and provides medicinal benefits, and that food gives the body the tools it needs to heal itself.
Erika comes to us as part of a business exchange, and she is delighted to be working alongside our expert Nutritional Consultant, Dr Gregorio Torchia, for the next four months.
During her studies, Erika received practical training at the Paediatric Clinic and at the Oncology Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She has also attended international conferences, congresses, and courses to gain more knowledge and experience, for example the FODMAP and IBS training for Dietitians by Monash University. As a member of ESPEN (European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism), she completed the Nutritional Assessment and Techniques, Nutrition in Obesity, Nutrition in Older Adults and Nutrition in IBD course as part of their learning program.
In the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle, Erika loves to spend her free time doing outdoor activities and especially enjoys hiking. She is looking forward to exploring the beauty that Scotland has to offer, while she is with us.
